

Still and Silence PrevailWater has crept over the trees and the earth. And it seems that even time is frozen. The wind blows and clinks the branches together, and the light from the pole makes them seem like a finely spun web. Only still and silence prevail. The trees seem to stand taller and more ominous, like ice guardians keeping watch in the night, protecting the fortress. On this night I could go anywhere, back to the time of my youth, to the years of my greatest joy and simplest thinking.Still and Silence Prevail
